BG Products were formed in 1971. Their goal was to make ‘the best performing products in their class’. Numerous customers including independent garages, hauliers, county councils and specialists agree that this goal has been achieved.
BG Products Research and Development laboratory (certified to ISO 17025) has 12 specialised technical, chemical and automotive staff. This team is working on identifying the challenges that modern automotive engine design and emission devices bring and developing solutions, primarily restoring power and economy whilst reducing emissions.

ASTRATECHTM is a new brand developed by BG Products. These products utilise all the same research & development and chemistry to produce a very effective, yet competitive, alternative to the premier BG Products range.
